Understanding concepts through hands-on activities
The key to language and Mathematics mastery, with the ability to answer higher order thinking questions, is a firm foundation and understanding of the basics. Hence, teaching and learning in my class is focused on hands-on activities to help children understand, remember and apply concepts with confidence. Once a concept is taught and understood, students will practice these concepts on worksheets and homework, gradually leading them to answer exam-style questions.
